Ikin are seeds obtained from the fruit of palm trees. They are characterized by their distinct eyelets or "eyes" found on the bottom base of the seed. Ikin are used for ikin divination or feeding and sacrifices to the Orisa, Orunmila after initiation. The most common are three eyed ikin, but three, four, five and six eyes are available.
You can purchase three, four, and five eye ikin as a set (or hand) of 21 pieces. Six, however, is extremely rare occurring one in every 10,000 ikin. They can be purchased individually. Remember, ikin are naturally occurring seeds, so sizes do vary.
